NOTES: Two historic records are shown. All others are from experimental introductions of this endangered species at Grays Lake NWR from 1975-1987 that were unsuccessful in establishing a wild population.

  3. 25 July 1975 to June 1987 – there are 18 records published in American Birds – some of these are breeding records with nests eggs and number of fledged young – Bonneville county, Latilong 22 and 28
  4. 21 April 1978 – 2 – Monida Pass, 2 miles south of, Clark County, Latilong 15  – William Harms – American Birds 32(5):1034 – from an experimental population
  5. 21 May 1980 -1 – Kilgore, Clark County, Latilong 16 – Annual Narrative Report 1980
  6. 14 April 1993 – 6 – Blue Hill Quad, Cassia County, Latilong 26 –  Carl Austin – flyover Goose Creek heading north towards Oakley Reservation – Status Change Report.
