- 4 July 1972 – 4 young in nest – 2 found dead in the nest at the end of July – Curlew National Grasslands, Oneida County, Latilong 27 – Charles Trost, Leon Powers – AB26(5):886
- July 2006 – 1 singing male – Curlew National Grassland, about ½ mile south of Black Pine Road, Oneida County, Latilong 27 – Robert Davis
