I just found an EASTERN PHOEBE at the BLM Cottonwood Recreation Site on the Salmon River south of Ellis in Custer County. It was first located near the horseshoe pits as soon as you pull into the complex and before the first restrooms.  It then flew towards the boat launch, and I lost it.  I got some photos that I’ll get onto eBird eventually and submit to the IBRC.  Quite a few other migrants are present.

I just went out to get the newspaper and watched my first Common Nighthawk of the year flying around out back.
