I always looked forward to running into her when I biked west of Glenwood on the greenbelt. She always had tips on both birds and other critters (racoons, etc.). She always knew where the best nests were,
especially one particular Cooper’s Hawk nest. I hadn’t seen her in a while, but I never knew where she lived so I couldn’t go looking. I’m sad. She was a delight.

She helped me pick out my first pair of binoculars at Cabelas. Always helpful in the field.
May her spirit soar with the eagles!

Some of you may remember Colleen. She passed away last September. She was a long time birder in Idaho. I saw a few life birds because of her.
