The photo of the eastern is a bit different angle. If you went and bought quail eggs what hatches out is a varying mixture.

The photo of the eastern female here is a bit different angle. If you went and bought quail eggs what hatches out is a varying mixture and frequently do not look quite like what their wild cousins do.

Bobwhite Quail.  A lot are raised for quail eggs, food and training bird dogs in the Treasure Valley.
