Thanks to another birder, I was able to see a Common Loon at Veteran’s Pond today. That was followed closely with a Wild Turkey near Veteran’s Parkway, and then a flyover of 2 flocks of Sandhill Cranes, (approximately 40 and 10) at Les
Bois racetrack. Most of “the usual suspects” cooperated for a 40-bird ride, my first in a long time. So far, no Cassin’s Finches, but there’s still light (and hope!).
