Cool … I ran into Blue Jays and Steller’s Jays today in Bellvue while looking for a Pileated Woodpecker … no luck on the Pileated again 🙂

Super cool news,
Right now there is a Pacific loon among a couple hundred common loons above
the dam. Also, 7 scoters:

5 Surf Scoter
1 White-winged Scoter
1 Black Scoter

The scoters are all associating together right at the dam. Viewable easily
from the little gravel “spit” that borders the highway there on the
reservoir side.
