At 9:13 this morning (11-24-19), one of the Boise bike officers texted me a
photo of the Boise Brant (they know my addiction). The bird was upstream of
the Capitol Blvd. Bridge, near the Velma Morrison Center. This is a heavily
traveled area, so I have no idea how long it will hang out.
I’ve listed the date and time because my IBLE postings have been taking
forever to show up.
I just spoke with Tom. He already posted directions but it’s not on the yahoogroups site so I’m posting them again
The Brant was seen on the greenbelt near the capitol Street bridge area in the vicinity of the Morrison Center and Tower apartments.

I observed and photographed a Brant at Dover Bay near Sandpoint, Idaho at 3pm this afternoon. The bird was in a small field with Canada Geese very close to the parking lot of the Balto Dog Park. The park is searchable on google maps.
I didn’t see any posts on the Brant so I thought I’d post this update. Five or six of us l looked for the Brant all day yesterday but did not find it. Hopefully it just found somewhere else to forage yesterday and will be relocated (I know there are people looking today). If it turns up let us know. Good luck…
As far as I am aware, none of us looking today found the Boise Brant. But
the Ovenbird continues!
