Re: [IBLE] Teton Valley Packsaddle area

Susan, we’re jealous of your list, esp those grosbeaks!
Missy and I saw “waves” of robins passing by a couple days ago at Eagle Island SP west of Boise……. most concentrated in areas of Russian Olives

We had quite an influx of American Robins this afternoon in the neighborhood here in the NW part of the valley. Had over 5″ of snowfall last night.

Hi all,

I’ve reached out to ABA about this, but wanted to share the info about this scam ASAP, and also see if anyone else got this email?

I received an email pretending to be the ABA, asking for money for one of their staff members: a GoFundMe page for a sick baby named Arick. Unfortunately the links provided seem to lead to an anonymous PayPal account, and the photo of the baby used is swiped from a news story in Texas.

Normally scam emails are easy to spot. This one was not caught by my spam filters, and was actually fairly convincing and well written, using official GoFundMe and ABA logos.

Did anyone else get this email?

RE: [IBLE] Warning: ABA Scam email

I got one of these, but I deleted it along with the 20 or so that were more obviously scams. I agree that it was well done, but I was suspicious that the ABA would go the GoFundMe route for a staffer’s child.

[IBLE] Band-tailed Pigeon [2 Attachments]

Hi All,There happened to be a juvenile Band-tailed Pigeon that landed in my backyard at about 5 PM today in Nampa. The bird landed on the porch railing, but unfortunately took off before I could take a few good pictures. I managed to find it sitting on my roof, and and took a few photos with my phone. Sorry about the poor image quality. With the fog and it getting darker outside, the pictures didn’t turn out as clear.
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!Kristin Araki
