We have several colonies at 2 of the parks I bike through. They only started singing in the last few weeks.

Red Winged Blackbird showed up today, likely a single, harbinger of Spring.

Glad my wife just got an extra bag of sunflower seeds.

Sean Pursley found short-eared owls on Big Foot Road south of Nampa. There are 3 owls and they were seen near the compost piles.
