q-u-a-c-k !!! ducks across the street are fed (quacked corn), magpies are fed (peanuts in shell), finches are fed ( BOSS, i.e., black oil sunflower seed )…cassin’s, house, lesser gold, american gold,,, and squirrels, quail and sparrows (song, junco, house, and a potential lincoln’s) do a great job on the ground as cleanup crew

we still have a juvie black-chinned hum coming to our salvia and agastache, both still at peak bloom.
but we haven’t seen a hum at our feeder for c. two weeks or so
our LOD for BCHU was 03 Oct one year (here)
one year in W Colorado we had a BCHU remain until mid-December, almost made our CBC
