It seems to be hit and miss. I was there yesterday and immediately found it near the front entrance, it was very vocal and moving around pretty busily from treetop to treetop, but staying in that area. I went there again this morning, and couldn’t find it anywhere. I went over to the other park by the dam, nothing there either, stopped back by discovery one last time and once again, nothing. So, if you don’t see it, keep trying!

This is helpful, thank you!
Re: Yellow-throated vireo – Discovery Unit Lucky Peak
It can range through the park but it is often near the entrance, in tres near the restrooms and/or the trees adjacent to the parking lot to the right of the entrance as you come in. Listen for its song to zero in on it.
Re: Yellow-throated vireo – Discovery Unit Lucky Peak
Can anyone describe whereabouts in the park the bird’s recently been seen? Thinking about going to search for it this morning. Thanks in advance!
