Vermilion flycatcher
The flycatcher is still at Swift River Farm in Salmon.
You need to contact the property owners before visiting; they want to know who is on their property. Send a message to Swift River Farms on Facebook messenger. Jessica was good at getting back to us.

Excellent sighting! Thanks for sharing your photos. Good birding as you continue.
Rare Flycathers
Hi birders all,
Talking of rare flycatchers, not in Idaho this time, Amy Bechtel & I returned from a road trip to Chicago & Pittsburgh earlier this week, whilst there at the Indian Dunes National Park Great Marsh Trail, near Beverly Shores, we & several other birders were treated to very cooperative views of an adult Fork-tailed Flycatcher, a first ever record for the southern lakeshore area. This bird does not ordinarily breed anywhere in the lower 48, its stronghold in S America.

IMPORTANT Re: [IBLE] Vermilion Flycatcher?
I just received notice to remind everyone this is private property and permission has NOT been arranged for just anyone to enter the property. As always, please ask the landowner for permission before going on the property. With patience I’m sure it can be seen from the road.

Re: Vermilion Flycatcher?
Here are the coordinates for where the bird is being seen.
45°12’7.53″N
113°53’53.09″W
It didn’t stay anywhere long today and could be difficult to find for a while. If you go and don’t see it give it at least an hour. It spent time in all corners of the farm as well as behind the pasture to the north. When it changed locations it typically flew high and flicked its tail in flight. Pretty easy to pick out. Good luck.
