If F& G does things correctly, they will find an appropriate place to release the bird.  It might mean a commercial flight elsewhere to wintering grounds.

I’m sad that I will no longer get to see such a rare visitor. I also wonder if F&G was catering to the fisherman by eliminating their main competition. 🙁

Fortunately, there are lots of winter visitors still arriving.
