Re: Dry Lakes – A pair of American Golden Plovers ?

I went and looked this afternoon and got good looks of the same 2 plovers in flight. They are Black-bellied based on having light rumps and dark axillary coverts/wingpits.

There were also Dunlin, Dowitchers, and Stilt, Least, and Semipalmated Sandpipers still present. The Dunlin count was up to 8 but there was only one Stilt Sandpiper today and drastically fewer gulls and Least Sandpipers.

Re: Opening Day

This past Friday, Big 71, prime number so I can’t split it.
I also just realized something. It was one thing to send a copy of the cartoon to individuals, but, I put it on a public forum. There could be complications, permission not given etc.. I’ve sent Cliff a note to remove the post to keep me as well as ible out of any trouble.
