BTW, in the four years that we’ve been in Idaho, on IBLE, we recall maybe
one or two other offers of birding equipment for sale, c’est tout!
This almost counts as a “rarity” 😉

Most state birding listservs I’ve been on DO allow this, i.e., listing of
scopes, tripods, bins, birding books for sale, why not?
IMHO, Larry

Cliff,
I don’t know that this has ever been talked about. I do know things have
popped up on the list on occasion, scopes & binoculars and such. I
personally don’t really mind an occasional post, but what counts as
occasional?
What are your thoughts?

A guide to the birds of Trinidad and Tobago. This is the most recent (3rd) edition (2012) of Richard ffrench’s classic bird guide, and the official guide for the Asa Wright Nature Center in Trinidad. Book is virtually new. Has never been taken to the field, and only gently leafed through a couple of times by me. Suggested price on the back cover $39.95 USD. My asking price $25. Buyer responsible for shipping if needed,.

Just and FYI for those interested,
No N. Parula in the vicinity this morning. Poky has received cold, cold
temperatures lately and its first sticky snowfall last night, so hopefully
it migrates soon.
Good birding,
