same here re black-chinned hums, our lowest numbers in 5 yrs
no rufous here yet, but we don’t get adult males in fall, maybe get an adult fem or two, mostly get juvies, typically beginning later july, early august
coolest spring-summer temps we’ve experienced in our 7 yrs here

We have had a male Rufous here, sporadically, since the 10th. Two females showed up over the weekend. Far fewer black-chinned than usual for this time of year.
