All,
I would say almost certainly that they nested thereabouts, based on GRHE annual cycle data per the BNA species account (Davis Jr., William E. and James A. Kushlan.(1994).Green Heron (Butorides virescens), The Birds of North America (P. G. Rodewald, Ed.). Ithaca: Cornell Lab of Ornithology), which summarizes migration of this species as not beginning until late August, more often early September.
Way cool!!

Subject: [IBLE] Green Herons-Power Co. (Important update)
Hello,
I am currently observing FIVE Green Herons at the Willow Bay Pier near American Falls. It appears One adult and 4 first-year birds. I can’t help but wonder if they possibly successfully nested here!
