Ellen and I refound the bird as well between 8:40 and 9:00. We heard it singing as soon as we crossed the bridge and it just took ten minutes for it to move into view. It darted off after a blackbird right before we left but we could still here it so it didn’t seem to go far.
Thanks Karen for the cool find, and thank you Cheryl for confirming the location details.
Good birding!

Just refound the indigo bunting reported earlier today at Ft Boise in canyon co. I used the coordinates with this mornings checklist and bird was right there singing. And it still is! I parked just after crossing the bridge- watch for the dip!- and walked a little west with trees on both sides! Thank you Karen Knoling!

This just hit my eBird rare bird alert. I probably won’t head out for it tonight but I’m very interested to hear updates if others go looking.
