we are loaded with them here in our yard (15+) and along the west end of the Boise River Greenbelt, with flocks in many weedy/shrubby patches along our usual 3-mile biking stretch……..
love their energy =) and next time we bird eastward we can bring you some, eh?

I’ve got a curiosity question. How are folks finding overall junco numbers this fall? I’ve usually got quite a few (30’s+) by this time of year &, so far, have just seen handfuls (5+). And, even those seem quite intermittent.
