[IBLE] Ovenbird in Boise

Hi IBLE,
Hopefully this post comes through? I just got a batch of Magnolia Warbler posts from a few days ago that didn’t get to me until this morning.
As many have seen on eBird and Facebook, we have an Ovenbird currently coming to our house and a number of birders have been able to see it. Location/info here: eBird Checklist – 1 Nov 2019 – Bitteroot House – 2 species (+1 other taxa)
For those who would like to see it, all are welcome to come any time.
We’d like to stress that if you would like to see the bird it is best to stay quiet and best to view from inside your vehicles. When there was a lot of birder activity this morning the bird was not spotted for about 2 hours. Once birders moved into their cars and kept voices down it’s been seen twice in the span of about half an hour, each time the junco flock comes in.
The bird is coming to the bark chips and leaves by our front door where we have some rosemary and lavender planted. It comes in with the neighborhood flock of juncos.  Best viewing is from near the street corner by the fire hydrant or the entrance to our driveway.
Good birding all!~Heidi and JayBoise
