[IBLE] More arrivals

Last night’s storm brought in some birds I haven’t been seeing in quantity.
At Quinn’s Pond there was a raft of Northern Shovelers, a bird I rarely see
at Quinn’s. There was also a pair of Lesser Scaup, m+f, first on the Simplot
pond and then later on Quinn’s.

At Silver Lake there was another raft of N. Shovelers, plus a smaller group
of both Ring-neck Ducks and Greater Scaup.

And despite the wind there were quite a few YR Warblers signaling their
presence as I rode along. Plus, at Esther Simplot, I had a flyover by a Bald
Eagle on the way out and an Osprey on the way back. While Osprey are easy to
find down at the west end of the greenbelt, they still are not all that
common up at “my” end.
