I just refound the Pocatello Hoary Redpoll. It took me two tries, but this time i got the flock moving around a bit. It is a little over half a mile up the trail along the creek at: 42.78508, -112.44613
Hey folks, Faye Spencer found a Golden Crowned Sparrow at Wilson ponds yesterday, 12/9/2021. I’m uploading her photos for her. She’ll post an ebird checklist tonight.
Seen on the trail as you head north from the parking lot, not on the pond side but on the opposite side.
The Siberian Accentor was in 1997, the Brambling at Kuna was in
2004.

The Siberian Accentor was in Hailey. Are you possibly confusing
it with the Brambling in Neva Black’s yard in Kuna?

Bob Hang in there, carpentry work hurts. I did
not remember a siberian accentor at Jim Holcombs feeders,
just sun valley area, missed them both. But I did get the
Louisiana waterthrush near ketchum, and the ovenbird at Jay
and Heidi’s.
Morley Nelson Birds of Prey NCA, today was a bust, no
winter raptors yet, very little bird movement, Loggerhead
shrike 10 days ago, but slim species today, maybe weather
related.
Pics attached from 10 days back.

Robert, sorry about the pain but glad you are repaired. Hoping you’re out and about soon.
Low RTHA numbers here on our survey route (Emmett H-Bend), 30 this survey compared to 80+ last Dec., but by golly the BAEAs were out in style at the Mill Pond.
