Just heard my first Townsend’s Solitaire of the season. They’ll winter along the Snake River in the Riparian area. Usually will stake out a Rocky Mtn Juniper that has good berries on it & defend from the Robins that come in, as well.
Just a handful of Yellow-rumped Warblers coming through. See maybe 2-3 a day working through the cottonwoods. A few White-crowned Sparrows & Juncos about. Otherwise, pretty quiet. Fall color is starting to peak, but a bit spotty this season.
