Just figured I’d cross post this in case anyone was interested. Aaron Beerman and family reported a Common Grackle in Ontario at the Love’s Truck Stop today. Just too far to see from the Idaho side though 😂. Keep your eyes peeled!

Just went outside, between rain bands, to refill platform feeder & heard a familiar call. Looked over at juniper trees & a very vocal Stellar’s Jay was working through the trees. Only the second time I’ve seen one at our river location.
Yesterday, the best bird was a 1st winter White-throated Sparrow. Lots of Trumpeter Swans flying over, as well. Kept track yesterday & counted 216.
