At least you know to correct your misidentification, Ceredig. When I claimed to have seen a couple of Cooper’s Hawks at Foote Park recently, it took an eBird moderator to set me straight and correctly identify them as Cooper’s Hawks. I’d concur with John, that those are some terrific shots of the shore crowd.

Idaho Birds and IBRC AOS/Website updates

FYI, the Idaho Review
Species List and Checklist of Idaho
Birds on the IBRC website, and the Species
Distribution pages on Idaho Birds have been updated to the
new AOS order.

Also, for those who miss the defunct BirdTrax widget that showed
the latest eBird sightings I found a replacement for notable
sightings developed by Ed Norton called BirdFinder. It is
displayed on the Sightings-News-Events
page of Idaho Birds.
