A visit from Alice
Since biking on a snowy day can be dangerous, I tend to wait for my feathered friends to come and visit me. Today, our neighborhood Cooper’s Hawk made 2 (unsuccessful) trips to our yard. I’ve attached a photo shot from inside the house
on one of the trips.

BTW, how many people on the list serve have ever been to an Alice Cooper concert? One of the most bizarre concerts out of the many bizarre concerts I attended (in my younger days).

WW crossbills have returned to canyon hill cemetery in Caldwell. They were discovered yesterday and seen again today.

Northern Shrike
Saw a Northern Shrike on West Dixie River Rd. In the Russian Olives across from the flooded corn fields. Also a single Yellow-headed Blackbird, in a large flock of Blackbirds.
