Notus road pastures

The folks on Notus Road are starting to flood their pastures. If you see shorebirds when birding the area please post your findings to IBLE.

No shorebirds today but killdeer.

Hi Cliff

I refound the Bewick’s Swan where Kathleen and Poo found it
yesterday. Bring a scope. Lots of Tundras and a few Trumpeters
for a swan clinic if anyone is up for it!

Re: Tundra Swans

Tonight I can hear Tundra Swans flying over my house in Island
Park for the first time. I guess spring is getting close.

Wish I could have taken a photo. Only have the camera on my phone.
Tried taking a photo of some groups flying over in daylight,
today. But, can’t begin to make out what I was actually seeing.
