All day today I’ve had a green-tailed Towhee scratching up my back yard. They are a rare visitor to my yard; I’ve seen them only a couple times before over a period of years. Also have a few White-crowned Sparrows hanging around, and also today, a House Wren made an appearance. Jeff Brough north of Idaho Falls near Ucon
Spotted 5 Yellow Rumped Warblers at American Falls Fish Hatchery on Sunday, and heard a Chipping Sparrow yesterday for the first time in Pocatello. Heading out early tomorrow to witness Sage Grouse doing their thing in Curlew Grasslands.
Probably, ranging from New México to Arizona to California to Idaho and finally Oregon. I hope you got to see the one in Idaho. I don’t think it stuck there long. Judy
