2 days ago went out s.of nampa rim rd.&pump rd.areas several places around lake theirs Robin’s up the Ying yang every where we went. Also couple of flocks meadow larks no longspurs or snow bunts

Odds favor an Anna’s hummingbird. They’re known to winter in the Treasure Valley.
California Scrub Jay
It’s being seen today at the entrance of the subdivision on Chicken Dinner Road, just south of Hwy 55. We were questioned by people from the subdivision and we explained that we were looking for the Jay. At least one person from the subdivision said that people have been seen trespassing onto private land.
If you go to look for the jay please be respectful of the people who live there. We were parked on the west side of Chicken Dinner Road and didn’t need to enter the subdivision.

Hummingbird Maple Grove/Northview Boise
Hi All
I rarely post but about an hour ago I saw a hummingbird looking for our feeders which we took down a few months ago. We have hurried to make food and put 2 out. I don’t know if it will come back or what kind it was. We live on Springhurst near Maple Grove and Northview.
