Missy and I birded SW Idaho in Ada, Elmore, and Owyhee Counties, focusing on seven hot spots (with 30+ stops between them), we found 80 sp, highlighted by 23 sp of waterfowl, 5 sp shorebirds, 5 sp swallows……
In hideous and relentless wind that rendered our scopes useless at times, thus we came up short on some expected passerine sp
But here we are – April is a big-time month for migration and new year birds, eh? =)

Near Kuna WTP, Missy found us a leucistic/albino Brewers Blackbird (best guess), but we weren’t close enough decide if it was a true albino, nonetheless very stark looking!
