I, along with with RL and Jason Talbot were unable  to relocate the Eurasian migrant!  The only peeps we saw were LBDOs.  

Ruff breed in bogs across northern Eurasia and not in North America. They winter primarily in Africa and Southeast Asia. They do however occur as a rare but regular vagrant to North America.

I believe (without looking) that ruffs are found across the Arctic. They breed in Alaska and Canada.
