Hey Rattlesnake – A little bird-finding, and lots of local color for an unforgettable spot? Gotta plug Birding at the Bridge: In Search of Every Bird on the Brooklyn Waterfront by Heather Wolf. A great (and informative) story of dedication to a patch! A great deal, $1.99 Kindle version. I believe the author has moved on to working on code for eBird…
We are going to New England late September for fall colors and I’ll be birding here and there.
Does anyone have a favorite spot in Central Park, NYC, or other places in New York? We will also visit Manchester, NH, Acadia National Park, Stowe, VT, the Berkshires, etc.
Any hints would be appreciated.

I know this site is meant for Idaho sightings, so forgive me if I’m out of line here. I just read this piece and thought the group would appreciate learning about this sighting.
