Lower dam 12:15 near boat launch 3 lesser yellow legs .outlet canal 2 lesser yellow legs spent 10 minutes photoing clear area never seen 3rd.one so maybe different  group

I birded for a few hours in Jefferson County this afternoon, starting at the Camas NWR headquarters area (https://ebird.org/checklist/S96441666).  The highlight was at least 2 (probably 3) SWAMP SPARROWS in cattails along the first 30m of “the straightaway ‘ (double tree row) just north of the entrance road as you pull into HQ.  Also present were an apparent intergrade Northern Flicker that showed mostly Yellow-shafted traits (black malar, red crescent on nape, largely-brownish face), a couple of late-ish Lincoln’s Sparrows, and both Kinglets.  There was a prescribed fire underway, and the auto tour loop was closed.
