At our place near Donnelly both deer and black bears work our feeders, in addition to a almost 20 bird species.

Deer seem to especially like sunflower seeds.

“Either that’s the world’s biggest chickadee or the deer is visiting the neighbor’s birdfeeder again”. Collister Drive winds up into Polecat Gulch in the Boise foothills. On my way up to the Polecat Trailhead, I saw a deer grazing on shrubs and flowers in people’s yards once but this was the first time I’d seen one working a birdfeeder.

I agree with Peter, this is a Solitary Sandpiper.

That back of camera photo is difficult, but with that speckled back and what looks like a pretty bold eyering, looks like a Solitary Sandpiper.
