Good Morning Birders,

I am wanting to go and try to see the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher at Centennial Marsh this weekend. Before I start planning on heading out, has anyone recently seen it? If so, could you give me some specifics as to where I should be looking?
Thank you so much for your help! Hope all of you are staying cool in these hot summer temperatures.

Identification

We were at Ponderosa State Park a week ago and came across these two birds. I think the duck is a young bufflehead. The bird on the lily pad looks like a redwing blackbird, but I don’t see the usual stripe along the head and the beak looks
a little longer than usual. Would welcome your thoughts and expertise.
