No luck around 11:45am today for me, went up and down the dam steps. Sanderlings, Western SP, Spotted SP and Killdeer is all I saw for shorebirds.

Bird is still present about halfway across dam on lower few steps (43.5823654, -116.7366983)

Just refound it about 1/2 way along embankment between the 2 sets of stairs feeding on lower step.

It’s too early to expect Hilary birds this far north (if ever). But, this is good/expected timing for Ruddy Turnstone in Idaho with 8 out of the 12 IBRC-accepted records coming from the period between 18 August and 17 September. To my knowledge, this would be the first record for southwest Idaho (except there appears to be an historic unreviewed record without details or even a date from Bruneau Dunes). Good find!
