RE: [IBLE] Re: Greenbelt birds

The building on the north side of the river, along Main Street, has a continuous loop that drives me crazy every time I go by, especially if I haven’t been there in a while. Apparently they don’t want our feathered friends pooping on their beautiful roof, so they play a loop of raptor sounds. One minute you hear a Kestrel and then a Red Tail and who knows what else. Now I try to avoid that area.

Jimmie,

I received this inquiry this morning from Greenbelt patrollers and wondered if you might know anything about it. Not a big deal; just curious.

“We were stopped by two ladies near the Shiloh Inn who asked about repeating bird noises they heard from trees on the Greenbelt. We finally decided these bird noises seem to be coming from a recorded loop. Does anyone know anything about this?”
