A male Rose-breasted Grosbeak was seen with a male Black-headed Grosbeak at the Pacific Recycling Trail/”People’s Park” in Pocatello on May 24. Someone else reported this–with a photo–in the Pocatello Trails Facebook group. I went there the next day, but did not find it.

One or two singing male blackpoll warblers earlier this morning at Mud Lake WMA. First heard and seen at: 43.8953, -112.35647
song heard again 35 minutes later in a nearby spot at: 43.89343, -112.35821

I’ve been looking for the Oriole that had been seen for the last 2 days but no luck. The feeders seem to be almost empty so the homeowner may be gone or just not filling them.

Re: Neotropic Cormorant still at Auger Falls
RL and Jason found a group of cormorants (including the two Neotropic) on the rocks in the river near the golf course clubhouse earlier today. Right after we joined them a double crested cormorant harassed the neotropics and they took off down river. More details on eBird.
