looks like the ” dashboard ” is continually changing, which is a serious distraction for geezers who have limited patience searching for / actually finding / once-common functions, e.g.,
looks like Ada County was lost somewhere in the belly of the beast, e.g., #2
where did the ” Top 100 ” for said county disappear to ? is it hidden somewhere new ? or did we simply fall off the edge, into an abyss ? ? ?
whereas, other counties in other states have not similarly disappeared………
A regular sedan is probably fine. High clearance is not needed but the road can be muddy in the afternoon so the traction from a 4×4 or all-wheel drive would be more secure.
really cool that you found the Snow Buntings … I lost our messenger call but was 20 miles aways and decided that since it was late and not a lifer not to turn around 🙂

The Common Crane was still being seen at 2:30pm. Ken Miracle helped get me on it and I was able to get a couple other birders on it before I left. On my way out, at the intersection of the first road off the highway I found a large mixed flock of Horned Larks and Snow Buntings. Snow Bunting has been a 15-year nemesis bird for me… until today!
