This AM, fall migration is hopping! Most numerous birds coming through are Wilson’s Warblers (dozens) & juvenile Chipping Sparrows (dozens). Next most numerous are Lazuli Buntings (10 or so, including 6-7 juveniles). Also am seeing: RB Nuthatch, MacGillivray’s Warblers, Am Robin, Song Sparrow, Am Goldfinch & immatures, W Wood-Pewee & feeding juvenile, Brewer’s Sparrows, House Wrens, W Tanager, Red-naped Sapsucker, White-crowned Sparrow, Warbling Vireo & Black-headed Grosbeaks. Not a single Hummingbird, feeder hasn’t dropped since last Saturday.

This morning, Sept 1st, I still have at least one Black-chinned Hummingbird
at my feeders just east of Idaho Falls.

The Swallow-tailed Gull is not at Carkeek now with the gulls. If it doesn’t show up here it’s almost certainly with another gull roost around Puget Sound so be on the lookout anywhere. I’ll update if it shows up here in the next half hour or so.
